Schools Farm Africa is an educational NGO helping students develop agricultural and entrepreneurial skills through productive school farms.
By combining classroom learning with hands-on farming, students gain the experience, confidence, and business knowledge to see agriculture as a pathway to opportunity.
How we're meeting the moment
Africa has the land, the people, and the climate to feed itself. Yet every year, billions of dollars' worth of food is imported while millions of young people struggle to find meaningful employment.
We believe the answer is right under our feet.

Turning schools into hands-on learning environments
Starting in Ghana, expanding across Africa
Schools Farm Africa will begin with 21 schools across Ghana, including girls' schools and schools serving students with disabilities.
The pilot is the first step in a much bigger plan. Working with educators, communities, and agricultural specialists, we will develop a model that can reach more schools across Ghana and, over time, across Africa.

Schools Farm Africa is about more than growing crops. By equipping young people with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities to succeed, the program contributes to a more food-secure and prosperous future for communities across Africa, while supporting several of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:
