Initial On-the-Ground Visit to Tamale

Following our April meetings in Accra, representatives from our 1993 PB Trade and Commodity Ltd. team traveled to Tamale to meet directly with the farmers and women leading shea butter production. The visit included time at farms, grain warehouses, shea processing centres, and small-scale production facilities, providing a closer look at every stage of the operation.

Conversations with the farmers reinforced the immediate need for practical support, including tractors, transport vehicles, storage, and equipment to help improve productivity and prepare for the spring harvest.

The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss how production capacity can continue to grow while strengthening access to local and international markets. It marked another important step in building a long-term relationship with the women, their communities, and our local partner, Maltiti A. Enterprise Limited.
