Connecting with Women Entrepreneurs in Ghana

As part of our recent visit to Ghana, PB Trade Founder and CEO Pegi S. Bautista Bernez and members of our team joined OAWLI for a session with 10 women entrepreneurs building businesses across a wide range of industries.

Each woman had the opportunity to present her business, share the products and services she has developed, and speak openly about the challenges standing in the way of further growth. Those needs ranged from access to financing to marketing, packaging, and other practical business support.

For our team, the session was an opportunity to hear directly from the women themselves and better understand both what they have already built and what could help them take their businesses further.

We were impressed by the women, their ideas, and the work already underway. Together with OAWLI, our next step is to explore ways we can help address some of the challenges identified during the session, including potential financing opportunities.

We look forward to continuing these conversations and supporting more opportunities for women entrepreneurs in Ghana to grow their businesses and bring their ideas forward.
