Rev John Teye Memorial Institute
PB Trade continues its long-standing partnership with the Reverend John Teye Memorial Institute (RJTMI), a respected private school in Ofankor, Ghana, known for its academic excellence, rich musical heritage, and welcoming learning environment.
A major redevelopment of the campus is now underway, creating a modern educational and cultural hub while preserving everything that makes RJTMI unique. The project includes new classrooms, fully equipped science and computer laboratories, upgraded learning spaces, enhanced technology, dedicated music facilities, and new residential accommodation for teachers.
Building on the school's strong foundations, the redevelopment will strengthen both learning and campus life, helping ensure RJTMI continues to inspire students, celebrate its musical tradition, and provide exceptional education for generations to come.

Female farmer co-ops
Tamale, in Northern Ghana, is an important agricultural region where women play a leading role in food production but often face barriers caused by limited equipment, storage, clean water, and infrastructure.
PB Trade is partnering with Maltiti A. Enterprise Limited, led by Rabiatu Abukari Gurunpaga, to support more than 3,000 women involved in shea butter processing, grain farming, and local product manufacturing. Together, the partnership is focused on expanding access to equipment, improving transport and storage, strengthening processing capacity, and introducing modern agricultural technologies that help increase productivity and create new opportunities.
The collaboration was formally recognized during a traditional ceremony led by the Queen Mother and senior women leaders, marking the beginning of a shared commitment to support women farmers and strengthen communities across the region.

Expanding clean water access
Access to clean, safe drinking water remains one of Africa's most pressing challenges. Through partnerships with governments and NGOs, PB Trade is helping expand access by deploying self-contained, solar-powered mobile water purification units, beginning in Ghana and growing across West Africa and beyond.
Designed for off-grid operation, each unit transforms contaminated, saline, or otherwise unsafe water into clean drinking water using advanced treatment technologies, including reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and desalination. Housed within 20- or 40-foot containers and powered entirely by solar energy, the systems can be deployed wherever they're needed most.
Key components are manufactured in Ireland before being assembled in Ghana, which serves as our regional production and distribution hub. This approach not only supports faster deployment across the region but also creates skilled jobs in manufacturing, assembly, logistics, and maintenance, helping strengthen local communities while improving access to clean water.

Nigerian foundation for orphaned children
PB Trade is supporting the expansion of the Global Foundation for Orphaned Children (GFOC), a long-standing Nigerian nonprofit dedicated to providing safe housing, education, and opportunity to vulnerable youth.
This project will renovate existing facilities, construct a second residential home, and develop a vocational training center to help children build skills for long-term independence. The broader vision includes a charter school, primary health clinic, micro-agriculture, and a renewable energy micro-grid to support self-sufficiency.
Our partnership with GFOC reflects PB Trade’s ongoing commitment to building sustainable, community-driven solutions that break cycles of poverty and empower the next generation.

Birthing centre in Sierra Leone
PB Trade is supporting the growth of Marina House Birth Centre, a midwife-led clinic addressing critical gaps in maternal care in Sierra Leone. Established in the wake of the Ebola crisis, the center has become a trusted source of safe, respectful, and affordable childbirth services in Freetown.
Our support will help expand the facility into a modern maternal health hub, equipped for surgical deliveries, neonatal care, and round-the-clock service. Solar power and telemedicine will enhance reliability and reach, while additional training will strengthen the role of women in healthcare delivery.
This partnership reflects PB Trade’s commitment to reducing maternal mortality and investing in solutions that create lasting, community-wide impact.

PB Trade is preparing to launch a foundation dedicated to supporting women and girls across West Africa through education, skills development, and initiatives that help them build brighter futures.
Women's empowerment and advancement
We'll be expanding support for female development through the partner organizations we actively collaborate with.
The mission is to empower the next generation of educated, entrepreneurial women to become leaders in business, education, public service, agriculture, and community development.
Higher education development
This full-scale education initiative will support learning from early childhood through higher education.
It will begin by strengthening primary and secondary schools in underserved areas and continue through vocational training, university access, and international exchange.
Rural girls' tuition assistance
Many girls in rural communities are held back by barriers like cost, distance, cultural constraints, and limited access to quality schools.
This sustainable, data-driven program will help bridge that gap by connecting them to better education opportunities in urban areas.
