The Rev. John Teye Memorial Institute
PB Trade is proud to continue its long-standing partnership with the Reverend John Teye Memorial Institute (RJTMI), a distinguished private school in Ofankor, Ghana, celebrated for its academic excellence, musical legacy, and inclusive learning environment.
We are currently leading a transformational redevelopment of the RJTMI campus, aimed at positioning the school as a state-of-the-art educational and cultural hub. The scope of work includes:
- New academic buildings featuring fully equipped science and computer laboratories and cutting-edge classrooms.
- A dedicated space to honor RJTMI’s renowned musical heritage, complete with instrument practice rooms, a recording studio, and a concert/performance hall for student showcases, community events, and international collaborations.
- Implementation of advanced technologies to enhance digital education, school operations, and global outreach.
- Institutional upgrades to improve the quality of teaching, learning environments, and administrative efficiency.
- Residential accommodations designed to attract and retain highly qualified teaching professionals by offering a supportive, community-based living experience.
This project reflects PB Trade’s commitment to not only preservation of the rich legacy of RJTMI’s academic and musical excellence but also propels the institution into a new era of innovation, cultural expression, and educational leadership.
Female Farmer Co-Ops in Ghana
Tamale, in Northern Ghana, is an agricultural center where women lead much of the region’s food production but face major barriers due to limited equipment, storage, clean water, and infrastructure.
PB Trade is partnering with Maltiti A. Enterprise Limited, led by Rabiatu Abukari Gurunpaga, which supports over 3,000 women across shea butter processing, grain farming, and local product manufacturing. Despite their impact, these cooperatives can lack the tools and systems needed to grow.
Support will focus on expanding access to farming equipment, improving transport, and strengthening storage and processing capacity. Efforts will also include expanding access to the latest advancements in modern agricultural technologies and solutions ensuring that women farmers can benefit from modern, efficient, and sustainable farming methods.
This collaboration was formally recognized during a traditional ceremony led by the Queen Mother and senior women leaders, marking the beginning of a shared effort to transform livelihoods for thousands of women farmers across the region.
Expanding Clean Water Access Across Africa
At PB Trade, we are committed to solving one of Africa’s most urgent challenges: access to clean and safe drinking water. Our initiative centers on deploying self-contained, solar-powered mobile water purification units, beginning in Ghana and expanding across West Africa and beyond.
Through partnerships with government agencies and NGOs, PB Trade will be able to deploy these water treatment units across Ghana and other parts of Africa. Designed for off-grid operation, each unit can transform contaminated, saline, or otherwise unsafe water into clean, potable drinking water. Housed in 20- or 40-foot containers, the systems utilize advanced treatment technologies, including reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and desalination, all powered entirely by onboard solar energy.
Key components are manufactured in Ireland, then shipped to Ghana for final assembly. Ghana serves as our regional production and distribution hub, supporting fast deployment while creating jobs in manufacturing, logistics, assembly, and maintenance.
This solution not only addresses water scarcity with sustainable, scalable technology, it also delivers meaningful economic impact through local job creation and long-term community resilience.
Global Foundation for Orphaned Children
4 Edmac Ave, Mercyland Estate
Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria
Cliff Jarrell, Director
PB Trade is supporting the expansion of the Global Foundation for Orphaned Children (GFOC), a long-standing Nigerian nonprofit dedicated to providing safe housing, education, and opportunity to vulnerable youth.
This project will renovate existing facilities, construct a second residential home, and develop a vocational training center to help children build skills for long-term independence. The broader vision includes a charter school, primary health clinic, micro-agriculture, and a renewable energy micro-grid to support self-sufficiency.
Our partnership with GFOC reflects PB Trade’s ongoing commitment to building sustainable, community-driven solutions that break cycles of poverty and empower the next generation.
Marina House Birth Centre
Freetown, Sierra Leone
Junova Swaray (née Ellis), Director
PB Trade is supporting the growth of Marina House Birth Centre, a midwife-led clinic addressing critical gaps in maternal care in Sierra Leone. Established in the wake of the Ebola crisis, the center has become a trusted source of safe, respectful, and affordable childbirth services in Freetown.
Our support will help expand the facility into a modern maternal health hub, equipped for surgical deliveries, neonatal care, and round-the-clock service. Solar power and telemedicine will enhance reliability and reach, while additional training will strengthen the role of women in healthcare delivery.
This partnership reflects PB Trade’s commitment to reducing maternal mortality and investing in solutions that create lasting, community-wide impact.
Additional Female Empowerment Initiatives
PB Trade is preparing to launch a foundation focused on advancing education, opportunity, and female development across West Africa. The following initiatives reflect our commitment to long-term impact and inclusive growth.
Women's Empowerment and Advancement
We'll be expanding support for female development through the partner organizations we actively collaborate with. The mission is to empower the next generation of educated, entrepreneurial women to become leaders in business, education, public service, agriculture, and community development.
Our focus areas will be on:
Rural Girls' Tuition Assistance
Many girls in rural communities are held back by barriers like cost, distance, cultural constraints, and limited access to quality schools. This sustainable, data-driven program will help bridge that gap by connecting them to better education opportunities in urban areas.
Support is provided through:
Higher Education Development
This full-scale education initiative will support learning from early childhood through higher education. It will begin by strengthening primary and secondary schools in underserved areas and continue through vocational training, university access, and international exchange.
Key program components include:
A Message From Our CEO
At PB Trade, we are proud to reinvest the proceeds from our operations into initiatives that uplift communities, foster equity, and strengthen sustainable development across West Africa. These efforts are not ours alone. We are joining hands with individuals and organizations who have long been on the ground, building change with courage, care, and vision. Our role is to support, amplify, and walk alongside them.
Each program we engage in reflects a shared mission: to empower people, especially women and youth, with the tools, access, and opportunities they need to thrive. Whether through education, healthcare, agriculture, or entrepreneurship, our focus is on creating long-term systems that foster self-sufficiency and generational progress.
The people behind these movements inspire us every day. Their resilience and leadership fuel our determination to do more, and do better. We are deeply honored to contribute to their work and help shape a future where talent, compassion, and potential are never left untapped.
We welcome collaboration, new ideas, and meaningful partnerships. If there’s a way we can work together to extend this impact, I warmly invite you to reach out.
