People have always been at the heart of our work in Africa
For more than 30 years, we've worked with businesses, governments, and communities across Africa on projects that strengthen infrastructure, expand essential services, and support economic development. From our office in Ghana, we continue to work alongside local partners across a range of industries.
Where it all began
Our work in Africa began through trade in Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana. As we spent time on the ground, we saw that many worthwhile projects already had the people and the potential to succeed. What they often needed was access to financing.
That changed the direction of our work. Alongside trade, we began helping connect projects with the funding they needed to move forward. It's an approach that continues to guide us today.
At home in Ghana
1993 PB Trade and Commodity Ltd. is our company in Ghana and the home of much of our work across Africa.
From our office in Accra, we work alongside local collaborators and support projects and humanitarian initiatives throughout the continent, staying closely connected to the people and communities we work with every day.
Our work has brought us together with leading organizations across Africa
We’re proud to have worked with respected organizations across Africa, from local schools and community groups to major businesses and government ministries.
These include the Archdiocese of Accra, Ghana Grid Company Limited, the National Petroleum Authority, Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, Rev. John Teye Memorial Institute, the Social Security and National Insurance Trust, Tema Oil Refinery, Volta River Authority, and government ministries in Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Benin, and Togo.
